History & Evolution
In 1960, a new textile organization was formed in Amritsar, Punjab under the name of Standard Textile Mills, by Sh. Bachan Lal. An ordinary farmer did wonders in the textile industry. He looked ahead, understood the trends and forces that will shape our business in the future and move swiftly to prepare for what's to come. We must get ready for tomorrow today.
Standard Textile Mills was formed to manufacture art silk cloth. The new venture thrived and later, son and grandsons followed on the footsteps of Sh. Bachan Lal towards growing the business.

Standard Textile Mills has maintained success over time by responding and adapting to change, investing in technology, and remaining totally customer focused in its efforts. Today, with two-plant operation, Weaving and Spinning in the name of Parkash Textile Industries at Amritsar and Ginni Textiles at Dera Bassi (Punjab) corporate headquarters and sales offices are all located in Amritsar.

Infrastructure
We are backed by technologically advanced infrastructure. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure has requisite quality testing machinery, warehousing facility and transportation facility, which enable us to manufacture and supply a qualitative range of Cotton Waste in an efficient manner. Thus, we are able to :
- Produce fabrics in 100% cotton and poly-cotton blends, in widths from 40" to 64"
- Produce yarn in sizes ranging from 6/1's to 10/1's count on BD 10 N machines
- Make the most of weave structures including Gwalior and Texmaco machines, plain weave constructions and some dobby and drop box capabilities
- Design and develop fabrics on the basis of specified needs
